Court Interpreter for Turkish
Aiša Kurbardović obtained her academic degree at the prestigious University of Istanbul, Department of History, Faculty of Literature, graduating with the status of "Honor Student". Her education and life in the Republic of Türkiye enabled her to master the Turkish language at native speaker level. In addition to Turkish, she also speaks Arabic. She worked at the Historical Institute of the University of Montenegro and at foreign language schools.
She builds her work on three pillars: absolute accuracy, inviolable discretion and legal validity. She was appointed as court interpreter by a decision of the Ministry of Justice of Montenegro, guaranteeing that all her translations are officially recognised and legally valid before all state bodies, courts and institutions both domestically and internationally.
In addition to contemporary Turkish, she specialises in Ottoman palaeography. She deciphers and interprets scripts such as sulus, naskh, diwani, riq'a, ta'liq and siyakat. This rare expertise enables her to work on historical documents and archival material from the Ottoman period.
